The Columbus & Greenville Railway (CAGY) is a 162-mile short
line freight railroad that interchanges with the Alabama & Gulf
Coast Railway, BNSF, Canadian National, CSX Transportation and
Norfolk Southern.
Commodities transported include brick, food products, metals and
scrap.
The CAGY was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2008.
