YRC Tariff DocumentsYork Railway Company (YRC) is a 40-mile short line
railroad located in south central Pennsylvania. The YRC operates in
the York/Hanover, Pa. region. The YRC directly serves approximately
40 rail customers and an additional 15 through its intermodal
services division, York Rail Logistics (YRL). Along YRC’s
right-of-way are numerous industrial zoned parcels suitable for
development.
YRC maintains connections with Norfolk Southern Corporation (NS) in
York, Pa. and CSX Transportation (CSXT) in Porters and Hanover, Pa.
The YRC also has a connection with the Canadian Pacific Railway
(CPRS) through a haulage rights agreement with NS from Harrisburg,
Pa.
